Edu was pleased with Albert Zambi Loconga. Arsenal technical director Edu is delighted to sign Albert Zambi Loconga, despite the young midfielder’s interest from several clubs.

Arsenal have just announced the signing of youngster Alber Samby Lokonga from Anderlecht with long term contract. The initial cost is 17.5 million euros, with an additional 4.5 million euros. 

Arsenal director Edu welcomed the 21-year-old: “We are delighted that Albert has signed us despite interest from different teams.”

“Albert is the main target for us. He’s a player we’ve been following for a while. He will strengthen our midfield. Together, we look forward to his continued development.”

Albert Zambi Loconga is Arsenal’s second new player of the summer. The following young left-back Nuno Tavares, who joined from Benfica.
